News sites

The media site as Al-Jazeera, BBC News, The Guardian, The LA Times, CNN and The Australian all are media sites that report on world issues and news events happing around. The sites as BBC News, The Guardian and CNN all had huge headlines of the Brexit situation while The LA Times and The Australian had a more complicated site were they took up “small” cases informing their “place” or “country”. Al- Jazeera had their site with the newest information in the world and as well as having a structure site with world news.

On social media the sites as CNN, The Guardian and Al-Jazeera the sites are posting basically the same stories as their news site, but on social media they are as well posting or at least with CNN and The Guardian they are posting more “funny” information or facts than on their sites which makes the site more serious and dark and their facebook a bit more easy going with their information.

I found two articles about the same topic in Al-Jazeera and in BBC News. The topic these two news sites wrote about was the the nineteen high building in Bangladesh that was hit by a deadly blaze. The articles have been written both in the last hour were Al-Jazeera was written for approximately 20 minutes ago and BBC News wrote their article for approximately 50 minutes ago and since these news are fresh their numbers out death are therefore different. Al-Jazeera has come out with five people dead, while BBC News has come out with seven people dead.

The articles are both short since the event happened today on Thursday and is still a very unknown case to write about. On Al-Jazeera site it was the first and biggest article which took up the whole site and with a red text were it stood “devolving story” which means it is coming more information later. On BBC News site it was a bit harder to find the story since their main focus is still on the Brexit deal and I found the article with the headline “deadly blaze hits Dhaka skyscraper” with no photos and with the eight other headlines without photos. The language in both of the articles are short and specific which makes it easy to understand. They both have a couple of photos from the event and they are both writing about the similar event happening the mount before killing 70-80 people.
